Africa Climate Summit

Venue: Kenyatta International Conference Center Nairobi, Kenya

The inaugural Africa Climate Summit (ACS) aims to catalyse change and provide solutions to climate change in Africa. The summit will be hosted by The Government of Kenya and the African Union.

Themed, “Driving Green Growth & Climate Finance Solutions for Africa and the World” the summit has two main aims:

• Design and catalyse actions and solutions for climate change in Africa by providing a platform to deliberate the nexus between climate change, Africa’s development reality, and the need to push for increased investment in climate action
• Converge on common priorities for global discussions, (incl. UNGA, G20, WBG and IMF Annual Meetings, and COP28 and beyond) for Africa

AAAP’s Participation

AAAP will host a session on ‘Unlocking Finance and Enabling Environment for Youth Entrepreneurs and Innovators in Climate Action’ in partnership with other collaborators in a bid to scale up proven climate solutions.
